What is the difference between believing in your heart and expressing that faith in action? Why did Jesus respond when He “saw their faith”?

In The Acts and the Assurances of Active Faith, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi takes us to the account of the paralytic man in Mark 2 and shows that the faith of the men who carried him was not hidden. It became visible through what they did.

The message unfolds in three parts: the assuring words of power and God’s preeminence, the active walk into the performance of God’s promises, and the wonders activated through prayers in God’s presence. Drawing from Jeremiah 32, Pastor Kumuyi reminds believers that no problem is larger than the God before whom it is brought, because there is nothing too hard for Him.

Turning to Jeremiah 1, he then asks the question “What seest thou?” and calls believers to see salvation, healing, deliverance, fruitfulness, and victory, and to give the Word in their mouths greater authority than fear, past experiences, human limitations, or negative reports.

The teaching moves from instruction into prayer and declaration, inviting the reader to repent, believe, speak the Word, root out what must be removed, pull down what must be pulled down, and build and plant according to the purpose of God.

Pastor Dr. William Folorunso Kumuyi, widely known as W.F. Kumuyi, is a Nigerian Christian minister, Bible teacher, author, and evangelist. He is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and the Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

His ministry is known for clear Bible teaching, evangelism, Christian holiness, discipleship, and practical Christian living. It began with a small Bible study group in Lagos in 1973 and grew into an international Christian ministry.
