In The Privilege of Belonging to God’s Earthly and Heavenly Family, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi opens Matthew 12:46–50, where Jesus points to His disciples and says, “Behold my mother and my brethren!” From this familiar passage, he shows the privilege of belonging to the family of God on earth and the family of God in heaven.

The message explains what makes believers the faithful brothers and sisters of Christ, and how the will of God shapes the character of those who belong to Him. It also warns of the faithless brethren who are not subject to Christ, including those who did not believe in Him, false brethren who bring bondage, and those who preach Christ for the wrong reasons.

Drawing from the report of the spies in Numbers 13, Pastor Kumuyi teaches believers not to listen to an evil report, and to keep marching forward even when the Red Sea is before them and Pharaoh is behind them. He reminds believers that the presence of an obstacle does not mean the absence of God.

The teaching closes with the full blessings of saints in Christ, the God who makes a way, and a prayer for the family of God.

Pastor Dr. William Folorunso Kumuyi, widely known as W.F. Kumuyi, is a Nigerian Christian minister, Bible teacher, author, and evangelist. He is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and the Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

His ministry is known for clear Bible teaching, evangelism, Christian holiness, discipleship, and practical Christian living. It began with a small Bible study group in Lagos in 1973 and grew into an international Christian ministry.
