About the Preacher
Dr. T.L. Osborn (1923–2013) was an American Pentecostal missionary evangelist, author, and Bible teacher whose ministry had a major influence on global evangelism during the twentieth century.
According to the biography included in this edition, Dr. Osborn and his wife and co-minister, Dr. Daisy Washburn Osborn, carried the message of Jesus Christ to more than 70 nations through large outdoor evangelistic and mass-healing crusades, sometimes preaching to hundreds of thousands of people.
His ministry emphasized the believer’s authority in Christ, the power of the Gospel, divine healing, and world missions. His work inspired pastors, missionaries, and evangelists to proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate God’s compassion through prayer for the sick and the preaching of the Good News.

A Message About Personal Evangelism
One of the strongest themes in the book is that every Christian can become a witness for Christ.
Dr. Osborn argues that Christ reaches people through believers in whom He lives. Soul winning, therefore, should not be viewed as a pastime or something reserved for clergy. The believer is presented as Christ’s witness, mouthpiece, messenger, and representative.
A World Vision
The message challenges believers to enlarge their vision beyond their immediate surroundings.
Dr. Osborn describes a “John 3:16 vision” as a vision that sees the whole world rather than limiting God’s purpose to one city, denomination, region, or nation.
