About This Message

Why do many believers who have received the life of God still struggle in sin, sickness, and lack? How can a believer move from what Christ has won to what he actually experiences?

In The Battle of the Age, Apostle Michael Orokpo explains that believers are engaged in a very serious warfare and that, until they are trained to engage it, the devil will continue to undermine their lives. Beginning with John 10:10, he shows that Jesus came to give life in abundance, and that this life must be manifested.

The message examines the warfare of this present evil age from Galatians 1:4 and Ephesians 6, the difference between legal victory and experiential victory, and the first battlefield of sin and the flesh. Drawing from Romans 7 and 8, Apostle Orokpo unfolds the law of sin and the law of the Spirit of life, and shows how transformation comes through the renewing of the mind and renewed fellowship with God.

He then turns to the second battlefield of health and sickness, explaining how to fight the battle against your health and how to build an altar of prayer around it.

The final part of the teaching deals with the battle of sufficiency and the power to prosper. Balancing revelation with responsibility, the message calls believers to diligence and wisdom, to seek first the Kingdom of God, and to release prophetic declarations and blessings over their lives.

This 45-page sermon eBook preserves the message in a reader-friendly format for personal study, spiritual warfare training, and continued reference.
