In The Way of Faith, Apostle Michael Orokpo explains that the answer to death, destruction, and loss is one thing: the life of God, sent to us in the Person of Jesus Christ.
The message begins with John 10:10 and the contrast between the thief and the Good Shepherd. Apostle Orokpo shows that Satan’s oppression is real, as with the woman bent over for eighteen years and the man at Bethesda, yet what Satan did over decades, Jesus reversed in a moment.
He then explains why Christianity is not merely a religion but God reaching man, living in man, and expressing Himself through man, and why the resurrection of Jesus proves that the life of God is stronger than death, sickness, and Satan.
A substantial part of this teaching focuses on faith as belief backed by action. Through the Canaanite woman, the woman with the issue of blood, and blind Bartimaeus, the message shows that faith refuses “no,” takes risks, and refuses discouragement.
