About Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts was a Christian evangelist, author, educator, and pioneer of the healing and television ministry. He was born on January 24, 1918, and became widely known for his evangelistic and healing ministry.

In 1947, Oral Roberts left the pastorate to begin an evangelistic ministry focused on ministering to the whole person. Over the years, he conducted evangelistic and healing crusades across multiple continents and used radio and television to take his message to a wider audience.
