About This Message
The Mystery of Deliverance (Part 1) is a message by Apostle Joshua Selman on the reality of spiritual warfare and the freedom Christ has purchased for every believer.
Apostle Selman begins from the Scriptures themselves, showing that God is called “The Deliverer” in the New Testament as well as the Old, using passages such as Paul’s words to Timothy and David’s prayers in Psalm 59. From there he roots all deliverance in the finished work of Christ, with the assurance of John 8:36 that “if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
The message then explores areas many believers quietly struggle with: the mystery of night encounters and the night watch, the power of spiritual words, and spiritual battles in regions. Apostle Selman teaches that Satan works through authorisations, and in the third he teaches that ignorance is a doorway, because people can break curses and walk in obedience yet still suffer for lack of spiritual intelligence. He closes with the importance of spiritual preparation and prayer before marriage, explaining that deeper spiritual influences can surface once a covenant is made, and that the real solution is genuine freedom through the power of God.
